Follow-On Contract Award for Deployment of Specialized Security System for Global Energy Customer
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 29, 2012 (CRWENewswire) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, today announced that its Public Safety & Security (PSS) Division recently received a critical infrastructure security contract award valued at $3 million. Under the contract award, Kratos will design, engineer, deploy and integrate into a command and control infrastructure a unique and specialized security system for a global energy provider. The contract is a follow-on award and the third phase of a five-phase project. Kratos has completed work for the first phase and is currently in process on the second. The security deployment for the third phase will include specialized video surveillance technology and other security related elements. Due to specific customer related and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
