CDen gave me this site. It's pretty good, I'm impressed by it.
I've also been using Investopedia, a Forbes site, which I find to be a great source if you're starting out, and don't have a CLUE what is what. They have great dictionary for everything investment-like!

Hi Beth. If you're new to the trading stock world, anything that you read will be helpful. I agree that Investopedia is a great site for understanding terms and phases. As for educational sites, you can go to quite a few different sites that members here have. Some are subscription based, so you have to decide if it's worth the money and that you can afford it at this stage of the game.
There is so many free sites to learn from that it may not be worth it until you understand more so you can capitalize on the information.
Here is a couple sites that may help you http://beatingthestockmarket.com http://beginnerinvestingguide.com
Both these sites also have free programs to help you build experience in trading stocks. I also use many of the site that were mentioned her in this tread. I myself use Y finance and TheStreet.com for research.
Hi everyone, I am new to the traddr community, but it looks great.
I have a website, where I dedicate a lot of time to writing articles on trading. I hope you like it. To date I have written 40 articles from articles for beginners
Tradingapples.com really got me going in the right direction. There's a completely free beginners course, live trading videos and an active forum of traders who share trading knowledge. It's definitely worth a visit!
