welcome

Who has some good Educational site for trading?

CDen gave me this site. It's pretty good, I'm impressed by it.

I've also been using Investopedia, a Forbes site, which I find to be a great source if you're starting out, and don't have a CLUE what is what. They have great dictionary for everything investment-like!

Anyone else have any good sites?

I use Stack Charts.... free technical education..... I printed off the whole website from work... become a very useful tool.

I dont really use this much.. but could be useful - not educational... more opinions

And one that may seem obvious... but some really good info here... but watch out for the companies that host the vids hoping to drag you in.

Wow! Thanks guys! Those are some great sites!!! I can't wait till I have to time to go through all the information here! :D

Don't thank me for the first link, that was allCDen tolod me about it just a day or 2 ago. And good adivce on the Companies, I've ran into a few of thoses. I don't trust those "Make a millionary in a month with out Tested system" schemes. The aren't working the markets, they are trying to work me! If I had a sure fire system, I would make as much as I could with it personally, then sell it to a big firm somewhere, and live off interest in a beach in Mexico... mmmm, that would be nice...

omg, Simon, thanks! That site actually inspired my username on here! It was a site I had ran across once, forgot to favorite, and couldn't find it again (I'm sure we've all had those experiences)! Thank you do much! :D

Hi you again,

very easy down-to-earth site with alot of easy-to-watch videos...

www.freetradingvideos.com - they recently started charging a subscription fee to their newsletter (which was originally free as well) but the rest of the site remains to be absolutely free in all its entirety.

I'm sure you will love this site.

Cheers~~

haha investopedia...that's a good one.

Sites I most frequently use when analyzing stocks are:

>www.google.com/finance (great to get some quick information or to read up on the lastest news)

>http://www.level2stockquotes.com/level-ii-quotes.html (To get level 2 stock quotes)

Other than that stockegg.com gives GREAT penny stocks alert by email.

Hope this helps ; )

How does Google Finance compare to Yahoo! Finance? I use Y! Finance a lot...

Try to acquaint yourself with Google finance. Yahoo's information is always outdated, sometimes from YEARS back... its pathetic. And Google allows you to follow in RT your stocks.. (intraday with little-to-no delay)! Plus, when you go intraday on the graph, the corresponding news on the right column also gets updated by the minute, and finally, you got a pretty decent (but most definitely not accurate) discussion board near the middle-end of the page (under the graph)

Of course, just imho

Cheers~~

Wow, really!? I had no idea! I'm enjoying Google Finance. Like on every other google page, they've cut out all the annoying bells and whistles I never use and slow your computer down, and bring me right to the meat of what I want! I asked for quote, it took me right to the interactive chart (The thing I use most in Yahoo).

I've a google girl, now! lol
